Abstract
A poet's poetry is a manifestation of his emotional states, which are expressed through the harmony of words, sounds, and letters in the music of poetry. Music is one of the most pleasing and flourishing creations of man. Among the manifestations of music, one can mention the music of poetry, which is the knot and connection point of emotion and art that crystallizes in literature and has long been the focus of Persian-speaking poets. In this way, depending on their level of poetics, they consciously or unconsciously enter the world of words and cover their intended meaning with the luxurious garment of weight on the stature of words and present the words with melodiousness and music on the heart and soul of the audience. The rule of augmentation is an expression that has been proposed by formalist and structuralist linguists regarding the use of weight and external music in poetry and is related to the form and structure of poetry and the distinction between rhyme and prose. Abbas Keymanesh, known as Mushfeq Kashani (born on August 13, 1925 in Kashan and died on January 18, 2014), is a contemporary Iranian ghazal poet. The study of the frequency of the use of external music in his poems and the response to the nature and extent of the use of bohour and prosody in 140 of his poems, including odes, ghazals, etc., is the subject of this article, which was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and through prosodic fragmentation of the sample volume. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the prosody of Mushfeq's poems is diverse according to their content, and among them, bohur-e-ramal, which has a gentle melody and a soothing rhythm and is suitable for long, heavy, and solemn themes, has the highest frequency (54%) in his poetry. Bohur-e- hazaj with a frequency of 20%, muzare? with a frequency of 13%, mujtas with a frequency of 8%, and bahur-e-moqtazab with a frequency of 5% They are ranked next in order.
